The same holds true for compressed air treatment. If the respective components are not regularly maintained, compressed air quality can be negatively impacted. Needless to say, this can have serious consequences for your compressed air application. And that’s not all: Inadequate maintenance of the air treatment components can quickly lead to inadvertent high differential pressures. It is important to consider the following: An increase of even just 1 bar in pressure results in six percent higher energy consumption.
Professional maintenance is essential
In compressed air technology, there are two important aspects: The first is the significantly increased complexity of all components. The second is the aspect of safety. One exception: In the portable compressor segment, simple maintenance measures can also be carried out by the users themselves. In such cases, KAESER provides specialised training for external individuals. But beware: The more complex tasks should be entrusted to the KAESER AIR SERVICE professionals.
